چکیده

Methods 60 patients with L5-S1 isthmic spondylolisthesis (mean age, 47years, range, 28 to 69 years) and age-matched control group of 77 normal adults (mean age, 43.5 years, range, 25 to 63 years) were recruted in this retrospective study. Parameters including slip distance (SD), slipping percentage (SP), pelvic incidence (PI), pelvic tilt (PT), sacral slope (SS), L5 incidence (L5I), lumbar-sacral angle (LSA), lumbar lordosis (LL), sagittal vertical axis (SVA) were measured on the long-cassette standing upright lateral radiographs of the spine and pelvis. Patients with spondylolisthesis were divided into two groups based on slipping percentage : Low grade : group A with SP<30percent (30 cases of 60) and high grade: group B with SP >30percent (30 cases of 60). Differences in sagittal parameters among groups were analyzed using independent samples t-test, and Pearsons correlation coefficients were used to investigate the relationship between spino-pelvic parameters and SP.

Current concepts on the sagittal balance and classification of spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis☆☆☆

Treatment of spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis remains a challenge for orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and paediatrics. In spondylolisthesis, it has been clearly demonstrated over the past decade that spino-pelvic morphology is abnormal and that it can be associated to an abnormal sacro-pelvic orientation as well as to a disturbed global sagittal balance of spine. This article presents th...

Difference of Sagittal Spinopelvic Alignments between Degenerative Spondylolisthesis and Isthmic Spondylolisthesis

OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences of spinopelvic parameters between degenerative spondylolisthesis (DSPL) and isthmic spondylolisthesis (ISPL) patients. METHODS Thirty-four patients with DSPL and 19 patients with ISPL were included in this study. Spinopelvic parameters were evaluated on whole spine X-rays in a standing position. The following spinopelvic param...

Biomechanical evaluation of predictive parameters of progression in adolescent isthmic spondylolisthesis: a computer modeling and simulation study

BACKGROUND Pelvic incidence, sacral slope and slip percentage have been shown to be important predicting factors for assessing the risk of progression of low- and high-grade spondylolisthesis. Biomechanical factors, which affect the stress distribution and the mechanisms involved in the vertebral slippage, may also influence the risk of progression, but they are still not well known. The object...

Reliability Analysis of Spino-Pelvic Parameters in Adult Spinal Deformity: A Comparison of Whole Spine and Pelvic Radiographs.

STUDY DESIGN Retrospective study. OBJECTIVE To examine the reliabilities of sagittal spino-pelvic alignment measurements using whole spine-pelvic and local pelvic radiographs and to determine whether spinal deformity affects these reliabilities. SUMMARY OF BACKGROUND DATA Sagittal spino-pelvic alignment is important in adult spinal deformity patients (ASD). Spino-pelvic parameters are close...

Correlation of Pelvic Parameters with Isthmic Spondylolisthesis

STUDY DESIGN A retrospective radiological evaluation. PURPOSE To verify that PI is related with progression of IS as well as development of IS and to assess the differences of pelvic parameters between the L4 & L5 IS, as well as between single & two level IS. OVERVIEW OF LITERATURE High pelvic incidence (PI) has been known to be related with development of IS. However, the previous studies ...
